Well you guys, this last week all of the boys officially started school.  Jack started first grade, Henry Pre-K and Charlie started his first year of Preschool.  The night before their first day, they packed their backpacks and woke up bright and early ready to go! Getting four kids ready and out of the house at eight in the morning is no easy task, but I am going to share with you in a later post some of my super simple hacks that have made our morning routine run relatively smoothly. 

I thought that getting back to early mornings was going to be a lot more difficult than it has been; I am not sure if the kids hear me wake up, but they have been getting up on their own before seven.  On days I don’t run first thing, I have still been setting my alarm early to have some quiet time before anyone else is up.  I love getting my coffee, reading and checking the news before I actually have to start functioning. 

Now that the kids are in school and our routine is back in action, I am going to have new workouts for you on a regular basis!

I have been in the fitness industry for over 11 years now and if I had a dollar for every time I heard a female client tell me she was hesitant to lift weights on her legs, in fear of creating “thick legs”- I would be set for life!  I have said it before and will say it again… lifting weights will not make you bulky, but eating like crap WILL make you bulky.

Repeat 10-15 repetitions of each exercise (each leg), for a total of 4 rounds.
