Lately I have been a little obsessed with Matcha and most of you already know my love for Collagen, so how amazing to have the two combined! Here is some brief information taken right from the Vital Proteins website on the benefits of Matcha Green Tea.

Matcha Green Tea is packed with antioxidants, which can help fight free radicals in the body and promote long-term health. Collagen helps promote bone, joint, and skin health. Additionally, Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and is responsible for the maintenance of healthy connective tissues, such as skin, hair, and nails.

I love this as a quick breakfast (sometimes I make it the night before), or as a healthy snack!

Matcha Collagen Yogurt Parfait

Sliced fruit of choice (I used strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or bananas)

Mix the yogurt and Matcha Collagen together then layer with remaining ingredients in a glass, jar or bowl. Additional delicious toppings are walnuts, cashews, avocado other fruit and honey.
